“I absolutely love roses. They are delicate, perfect, wonderful, elegant flowers that will always bring an element of sophistication to a space. I wanted to depict this gentle feeling onto canvas with the use of minimal colour and so I decided to paint the roses using a lot of texture, allowing them to stand out without being forceful, bold yet soft.”
